Read My Lips- "The Patch Works"

Remember the infamous "read my lips- no new taxes" line from President Bush (Daddy Bush- not Junior in office now)? The statement from Microsoft regarding public reports that the MS03-032 patch doesn't work seems to have a similar ring. In essence, Microsoft states that the patch for the vulnerabilities identified in Security Bulletin MS03-032 does in fact fix what its supposed to fix. They claim that the reports of apparently flawed patching are actually the result of new vulnerabilities that are variations on what was originally reported and patched. They are looking into the issue and "upon completion of our investigation we will take appropriate action to protect our customers."
