Product Review: Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer

Microsoft has created the free Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer (MBSA) tool to scan the Windows operating system and other Microsoft products to identify unpatched vulnerabilities as well as misconfigured or poor security settings. The latest version, released in June of 2003, has been updated to run from or scan Windows 2003 Server systems as well. To learn more about this free utility from Microsoft check out the review.
