Test Your Web Browser Security

Monday October 27, 2003
A recent entrant into the network security market is Belgian firm ScanIt. They specialize in network security audits for their customers. ScanIt also provides a free service from their website which will perform a battery of tests against your web browser and provide you a report of the security vulnerabilities you are exposed to. The report provides results broken down into High, Medium and Low risk vulnerabilities. Each vulnerability is then detailed out with a description of the risk, the technical details associated with the vulnerability and recommendations for how to mitigate or patch the flaw as well as some links to additional information that you may find useful. To scan your web browser and find out if you are vulnerable you can click here: Browser Security Test.
