Book Review: Hacking- The Art of Exploitation

Thursday November 20, 2003
Jon Erickson's Hacking: The Art of Exploitation is a phenomenal book. It provides a deeper look at the inner-workings of vulnerability types like heap and stack overflows, string format vulnerabilities and more. Erickson takes it one step further by not only showing you how the vulnerabilities work, but giving you the knowledge you need to analyze the vulnerability and write your own exploit code. A definite must-read for anyone in vulnerability or penetration testing and highly recommended for anyone. Book Review: Hacking- The Art of Exploitation.
