Microsoft Security Bulletin for May 2004

Wednesday May 12, 2004
The second Tuesday in May is mild in comparison with the barrage of bulletins and patches Microsoft unleashed in April. There is only one new security bulletin this month. MS04-015 discusses a vulnerability in the Windows Help and Support Center which can be exploited remotely. Exploiting this flaw requires a significant amount of user interaction so Microsoft ranked it as only "Important" rather than "Critical". May 2004 Microsoft Security Bulletin
