Have You Been Hacked?

Monday July 19, 2004
A few months ago I posted a blurb about a site I had discovered, BleepingComputer.com, that has great forums and tutorials and a variety of information aimed at more or less the same audience as this site. One question which comes up fairly often is how someone who is not a network or security uber-guru is supposed to be able to tell if or when they get hacked. BleepingComputer.com offers a brief tutorial explaining some tools you can use and steps you can take to determine if you have been hacked. Windows Forensics: Have I been Hacked?
