Getting Started With Linux

The Nutter's Help Desk column by Ron Nutter on NetworkWorldFusion provides some great information. I have found one of the best ways to learn is from other's mistakes- or at least their questions. By reading the various letters to the editor and other reader submissions you can generally get answers to a lot of questions you might have or really good questions you just haven't thought of yet. This particular column answers the following reader question: "I can see that to stay competitive in the IT field it would be in my best interest to learn Linux. My question is which flavor of Linux and what is the best way?" To find out Nutter's answer see How To Get Started In Linux
