Microsoft Releases Beta Version of Anti-Spyware Software

Thursday January 6, 2005
A few months ago Bill Gates announced that Microsoft was taking spyware serious as a security concern and planned to address the problem. Last month Microsoft purchased Giant Company Software, makers of Giant AntiSpyware software. Today they have released a beta version of their Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware software based on the Giant AntiSpyware software purchase. Most users will probably want to wait until the beta testing is completed and the official product is released, but those who want to see what Microsoft has to offer or play around with this new software can download the beta version for free here: Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware Beta
