Book Review: Mapping Security
Wednesday March 2, 2005
If you have traveled, or better yet lived, outside of the United States, you have probably gotten the idea that Americans are disliked in many areas of the world. It is not so much that other countries are just blatantly anti-American (although events in the last 4 years certainly haven't helped), but different societies and cultures tend to view the world through their own microscope and none are more guilty than citizens of the United States. Patterson's book will help you understand the intricacies of doing business across physical and cultural boundaries and understand the legal and ethical dilemmas you will face.
