Protect Wireless Access Using MAC Address Filters

Home networking equipment, particularly wireless network equipment, is designed to be simple to install and start using. It succeeds in that goal, but if you simply plug it in and start using it, the wireless network will be just as easy for any other stranger to join as it was for you. There are a few basic steps you can take to secure your wireless network.
