Forums: Annoyed By Pop-Up Spam

Monday April 25, 2005
A user in the Internet / Network Security Forums appears to be having an issue with spam messages which use the Windows Messenger Service to infiltrate your system. Timmonie writes: Every time I go to my computer, I have to close a bunch of anoyinging pop ups from some messenger service warning me about security and viruses. They're the only problem I'm having! How can I shut this off without buying software to download which they are trying to sell. There has to be a way to shut this down without buying anything. Can anyone help?
