Three Critical Security Bulletins From Microsoft

Saturday August 13, 2005
Microsoft released their Security Bulletins for the month of August. There were 6 total: 3 Critical, 1 Important and 2 Moderate. MS05-039, which relates to a remotely exploitable flaw with plug and play, and MS05-043, which relates to a remotely exploitable flaw with the print spooler system, have network and security administrators scrambling to apply the patches on an urgent basis because exploit code is already available and security experts feel that a worm based on these vulnerabilities could be imminent. For more details or to get the patches for your system, check out August 2005 Microsoft Security Bulletins.
