Beware Hurricane Katrina Scams

Tragedies and natural disasters are often used by those with less than honorable intentions as a means of tricking users. Hurricane Katrina is no exception. One week after the hurricane devastated New Orleans and the Gulf Coast, there are hoax chain letters, phishing sites aimed at stealing your identity and financial information and malware all targeting good Samaritans who are looking for ways to help the hurricane victims.
