Six Dumbest Ideas In Computer Security

Tuesday September 13, 2005
Marcus Ranum, Chief Security Officer of Tenable Network Security and author of Myth of Homeland Security, contributed an article recently to certifiedsecuritypro.com. The article, titled The Six Dumbest Ideas In Computer Security, examines Ranum's list of what he considers the biggest mistakes in I.T. security. Ranum and I have not always seen eye to eye on everything, but I have the utmost respect for him and his contributions to this field. His insights and opinions in this article certainly provide some food for thought.
