Product Review: McAfee Wireless Home Network Security

Monday November 7, 2005
According to McAfee, more than 60% of existing wireless networks are insecure. Most home users who implement wireless technology are just looking for simplicity and efficiency. They can roam about the house or network other computers without having to run network cabling through the walls. But, these same people don't know what an SSID is or how to encrypt their data. McAfee designed this product for home users, aiming to provide a product that is simple and intuitive, but that also locks down the wireless network and provides the necessary security.
