Nyxem Worm D-Day

The 'Nyxem' worm, AKA 'Kama Sutra' or 'Black Worm', is set to unleash its destructuve payload today, February 3rd. Nyxem attempts to delete registry keys and files associated with common antivirus and security software to disable them. The payload is set to trigger on the 3rd of each month and systems infected by the worm will have a variety of files destroyed including anything with DMP, DOC, MDB, MDE, PDF, PPS, PPT, PSD, RAR, XLS, and ZIP file extensions.
