Monday March 27, 2006
If you have used email for more than a few minutes, odds are good that you have received an email, allegedly from eBay, Paypal, Chase Bank or some other entity, notifying you that your account has been compromised. Choppbobby, an About.com Internet / Network Security reader, wrote on the Netsecurity Forums to ask whether or not there is something users can do with those messages to help combat the problem:

..."My question is is there a government entity where we can forward these malicious e-mails? And if we do, does it do any good?"
