Avoiding and Removing Spyware

Spyware is virtually everywhere these days. Some things, like benign tracking cookies, are arguably not spyware and don't pose nearly the threat that a Trojan or keystroke logging program does. It helps if you know little tricks, like not clicking on the 'X' to close a potentially malicious pop-up window, or what software to use to protect your computer from spyware.
