Book Review: Cisco Wireless LAN Security

Monday June 19, 2006
Wireless networks continue to spread rapidly. Not too long ago, many corporations simply tried to ban or minimize the use of wireless technology as a means of securing data from traveling unprotected through the airwaves. Wireless technology is permeating just about every electronic device from laptops to cell phones to Nintendo DS handheld game systems though, and network and security administrators need to understand the risks inherent in using wireless networks and put the proper security measures in place so that the technology can be embraced rather than banned. Cisco Wireless LAN Security hopes to provide a solid source of information to help do just that. For more about the book, read my review.
