Undo Malware With System Restore

Monday July 3, 2006
Being a security-savvy computer user, I know that you have antivirus software, anti-spyware software, a personal firewall and spam filtering on your computer. Of course, you make sure that they are frequently updated to protect against all of the latest and greatest malware threats. But, it could still happen that your computer becomes compromised or infected in some way. If your computer is having issues that you can't seem to identify or eradicate, you can just go back in time to when it was working better. Windows XP has a System Restore feature which lets you undo time and go back to when the system was faster or more stable- before you started having problems. Check out Undo Malware With System Restore for instructions on how to use this feature.
