Phone Phishing

Many users have become wise to normal phishing tactics. They know not to email their personal information or click on links from within suspicious emails. A new phishing attack plays on that knowledge to confuse users and trick them into surrendering their personal information another way. According to information from Sophos, this new threat attempts to trick users into calling a phone number and leaving their personal and confidential information in a voicemail.
