Five Critical Vulnerabilities From Microsoft
Wednesday July 12, 2006
Microsoft released a total of seven new Security Bulletins for July. Two of them are ranked as Important, while the other five are rated as Critical. All five of the Critical security bulletins could potentially result in an attacker being able to execute malicious code on vulnerable systems. Three of them affect Microsoft Office and the other two affect underlying Windows services such as DHCP. For more details about the July Microsoft Security Bulletins, and links to the necessary patches, see the July 2006 Microsoft Security Bulletins summary.
