Learn Wireless Network Security

Monday July 24, 2006
I just got back from vacation. While I was away at a technology-challenged cabin in northern Michigan, I struggled to find a functional wireless connection to access the real world. I found a few legitimate free hotspots, but I also discovered a number of personal or private wireless connections that were unprotected. Odds are good that the owners of those wireless networks are completely unaware that anyone can hijack their Internet connection through their wireless network. If you want to learn more about wireless network security, sign up for my free email course, WiFi Security 101.
