Unpatched Flaw In Microsoft Word Being Exploited

According to a Secunia Security Advisory, a vulnerability has been identified in the way Microsoft Word 2000 documents are processed which can allow an attacker to execute malicious code on vulnerable systems. There is no patch available currently and the flaw is reportedly being exploited in the wild. With no fix for the flaw yet available, Secunia cautions users to not open any untrusted Microsoft Office documents.
