Books To Help You Secure *Nix

Monday October 9, 2006
One 'solution' for the security issues in the Microsoft Windows operating systems is to just not use it. Many security experts and the techno-geek crowd shun Microsoft in favor of open source products such as the Firefox web browser, or the Linux operating system. While there are certainly some features of the Linux operating system that are more secure by default, the operating system, and the many applications that generally come bundled with it, have their own issues. It is still up to the user to be sure that they stay informed and keep the system secure. Check out the books below for more on securing your Linux or Unix operating system.
