Windows Defender Anti-Spyware Released

On Tuesday, Microsoft released the final version of their anti-spyware product, Windows Defender. The product has been available in Beta form for months, but Microsoft fixed the issues that were identified in Beta 2 and feels that the product is ready for the real world. Windows Defender is available as a free download, similar to other anti-spyware products such as AdAware and Spybot S&D. Windows Defender also comes with the Windows Live OneCare security suite from Microsoft which allows you to protect and maintain up to three PC's for $49.95.
