Windows Vista Sidebar Gadgets for Security

Sunday February 11, 2007
With Windows Vista, Microsoft introduced a new, somewhat frivilous feature- the Sidebar. The Sidebar can be displayed on the left or right side of the screen and can be customized with a wide variety of Gadgets. Gadgets range from basic information such as the time or the weather, to games such as Asteroids, or gadgets that monitor eBay, or gadgets that perform Google searches and much, much more. This Top Picks list is my selection of gadgets that are a tad less frivilous in that they can help you to monitor the security of your computer (or the world in some cases). If you want to put the Vista Sidebar to some more productive use, check out the Top Vista Sidebar Security Gadgets.
