Choosing An Antivirus Product

Antivirus software is one of those applications that is run almost universally. Almost everyone understands the need to use antivirus software to protect their computer from all sorts of malware. For the most part, antivirus software is antivirus software. They all do a decent job. However, there are some features that set them apart and those are the ones you need to focus on when choosing an antivirus product. For a detailed comparison of antivirus products, you can read the review I wrote for the March 2006 issue of PC World: The New Virus Fighters. Avast/Avira/AVG seem to be most mentioned antivirus freebies but they also have plenty of people hating them for various reasons.

i’m not agree with you. Avira really good, i tested it and NOD32 too. I can’t find any reason to hate Avira. About AVG may be you right..
