Beware Virginia Tech Phishing Scams

It is unfortunate, but tragedies such as the recent massacre at Virginia Tech tend to spark malware and phishing scams. While interest is high and people are actively surfing the Web trying to learn details and find information about the events, attackers capitalize on the demand and use the tragic event to lure in users. You may see email file attachments claiming to be photos or video clips of the events, or receive emails with Web links claiming to take you to relevant sites related to the tragic events.
