7 Critical Security Bulletins From Microsoft

Wednesday May 9, 2007
Microsoft released 7 new Security Bulletins this month which patch a combined total of 19 identified vulnerabilities. The most prominent of the vulnerabilities is the flaw in DNS which has already been actively exploited in the wild. Security Bulletin MS07-029 addresses the DNS issue. There are also Critical Security Bulletins related to Internet Explorer, Word, Excel and more. Make sure you check out the bulletins to determine what patches you might need, particularly if you don't have Automatic Updates configured to download them. For more information, check out May 2007 Microsoft Security Bulletins.
