Get The Knack of NAC

Friday May 11, 2007
NAC, or Network Access Control, has been one of the top 'buzz word' technologies for a couple years now. Some vendors would have you believe that NAC is the Holy Grail that will provide the protection your network needs, but many customers are not yet convinced. Still, vendors continue to expand and evolve the technology, and more and more vendors continue to jump on the bandwagon. McAfee, Symantec, StillSecure, and Cisco are some of the bigger players, but many new startups have popped up focusing on NAC solutions. Are you considering NAC for your environment? Have you already implemented it? Have you assessed it and decided to pass for now? BT INS is conducting an online industry survey to guage the acceptance and state of implementation of NAC solutions.
