Guide Review - Book Review: Security+ Prep Guide
Security+ is a great first certification for someone looking to enter the field of Information Security. Although it is considered something of an entry-level certification, the information and the exam are by no means trivial.
The Security+ exam tests on five domains or subject areas: general security concepts, communications security, infrastructure security, basics of cryptography and operational / organizational security. This book covers each of these topics well and includes review questions at the end of each section.
The book should be used to prepare for the test and not necessarily to teach the information. Nothing beats hands-on experience for real learning, but for those ready to take the exam this book is a great tool.
