Guide Review - Book Review: Internet Security
This book is an execellent resource for an IT Manager or Security Administrator trying to establish security policy and procedure. The subtitle- A Jumpstart for Systems Administrators and IT Managers- says it all. Internet Security contains a lot of information on networking technology and concepts and various security technologies such as cryptography and firewalls. But, if you are looking for in-depth knowledge on these topics there are better books. The true value in this book lies in the way the authors walk you through defining policy and procedure. The various sections provide hints of what you should include or the questions you should ask yourself and the resources and vendor info are very useful for contacting the right sources.
