Disclosing Exploit Code
When security researchers find a vulnerability, and the vendor has been notified and created a fix- the vulnerability is made public and often the exploit code as well. Security researchers are now wrestling with the ethical implications of this practice and a few major security researchers and groups have chosen to voluntarily cease releasing exploit code at all.

Joel Scambray and Stuart McClure have included all of the latest attack techniques and tools in Hacking Exposed- Windows Server 2003. The Tips, Notes and Cautions help draw your attention to areas that require more focus and each chapter provides URL's to references for more information as well as sources for freeware and commercial tools that you can use. This is an excellent book that anyone using or administering Windows Server 2003 should read.
