Computer and network security fiction and cyber-thrillers

All work and no play makes Tony a dull boy. Sometimes its nice to take a break from reading instructional, educational or informative books and delve into the imaginary world of fiction. These books are fictitious or cyber-thrillers which are novels that relate to computer or network security in some way.
Digital Fortress
A review of the cyber-thriller novel Digital Fortress by Dan Brown. An excellent novel highlighting encryption and high-technology espionage as well as some government / privacy issues.
Hacking a Terror Network
A review of the book Hacking a Terror Network by Russ Rogers. Russ uses a narrative story to describe how a terrorist organization might leverage technology to become more efficient and more deadly.
Stealing The Network: How To Own The Box
Stealing The Network is an excellent book. It uses fictitious short stories to illustrate how blackhat hackers think and demonstrate how and why to use various tools and utilities. Definitely worth reading.
The Da Vinci Code
A review of the best-selling thriller The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. It has only loose connections to cyber security or cyber fiction through some code-breaking and cryptography, but it is an excellent book.
