My Review
The exam questions were detailed and comprehensive. Like other quality certification training products, I believe that being able to pass these practice exams will virtually assure that you can pass the real exam.
The ability to customize the practice tests and generate detailed reports to illustrate which domains you are weak in is a very helpful feature to aid in utilizing your time wisely. There is no point in continuing to study material you have mastered while running out of time to study the information you are weak in.
Whether you answer the question right, or get it wrong, the PrepLogic software provides a complete explanation. This sort of detailed feedback is very helpful for cementing the information in your mind. I have not had a chance to use it, but PrepLogic also offers the ability to tie this product with their Lecture Series so that you can get an audio explanation of your right and wrong answers.
At $159 the product is not cheap, but it is competitively priced with other training resources. For $201 you can purchase it as a bundle with the Lecture Series product.
Conclusion
You most likely will not receive any instant bonus or job promotion for having achieved the CISSP certification, but it is an investment in your career. As such, combined with the expense of the exam itself, passing it should not be taken lightly.
Investing $159 (or $201 if you include the Lecture Series) is a small price to pay to gain some peace of mind and go into the exam confident that you will succeed.
