Working with Vista

Thursday October 9, 2008
It seems like the debate about Vista has subsided in recent months. I don't know if that is a function of Vista SP1 fixing some of the issues peope were concerned about. Perhaps it is related to Windows XP no longer being made available as an option and a sort of resignation that Vista is here whether you like it or not. Personally, I have used Windows Vista since Beta - almost 2 years now - and I have liked more than I disliked. There are some things that took getting used to, but overall I like the changes that Vista delivered and I have problems finding things now when I go back to looking at a Windows XP.

With all of that in mind, I thought it might be a good time to highlight again some of the content on this site related to using and securing Windows Vista. In the coming weeks I will be working on more how-to's, tips, and other content related to Windows Vista. If you have any specific questions or concerns about Windows Vista, drop me an email about what types of content you are interested in reading.

This is for Tony Bradley, W Vista is ok,(Some more steps to get there, or we where used to XP on many icons) and agree w your artilce, But there is one thing missing in vista, when you are copying..there was an option in XP, when selecting files or folders..(copy all, Select, this still in vista) but the invert selections (to copy the rest of files that where not selected,) does not come with vista…and that is a big loss for me..on the new w vista.
